YESS. It's finally summer! GYAH I'm so excited! Yet... I haven't really felt the "kick" yet. Hrms.

Anyways. How's everybody summer going!?~!! Er. At least for those of you that are out of school
I feel so relieved to get finals & AP testing over with. Oh lord. So. I did great on few finals and TERRIBLE on the others. ;~;
I ended the year with 2 B's (APWorld & Spanish III) + everything else A's without the honor/7-points. All A's with the 7 points. First time getting B's on my report card. I miss Louisiana/Texas schools ;~;
My school ended last Friday. I swore I felt the urge to go to my bus stop yesterday morning. xD; Although it is summer, it seems that I can never avoid studying. I have SAT school the entire summer, 5 x a week for 4 hours a day. Hooray.
Buuuut! On the contrary, I'm determined to finish all my cosplays before the Risingsun.net photoshoot on the last weekend of June!

Im very concerned about bringing my big-arse obi Sakura to the shoot. The summer heat here in Georgia is a killer! It is only the end of May & we are already experiencing 90 degree heat. By end of June, I'm pretty sure it'll be in the 100s. Stupid global warming -3-
Anyways, I am thinking of lining the inner kimono with cool-packs. XD Hopefully it'll work.

As for progress, I'm 70% done with it (minus the staff ). & b/c I didn't feel like working on my SAT h/w, I decided to take some pictures of it: [link] (Sorry about the horrible mirror image quality! x_x).
I have the obi made, but I'm having difficulties attatching it to my body. But still. So far, I'm really liking how it's turning out! Oh &! I remember somebody mentioning in my last entry that the link to the original artwork did not work. Here it is again: [link]

& News. Somehow, my little freshmen & my friends managed to convince me to do a Shiki from World Ends With You cosplay with them. We're hoping to have a full group for AWA! I'll be wearing it to Risingsun.net shoot, D*Con, & AWA. As for progress... [link] XDD & Yes, I'll be using my Kairi wig for this so don't worry about the natural hair used in this picture. Oh yeah! Uh. So Nichole (our Rhyme) and I went over to Colleen (our Beat)'s house last weekend and worked on our WEWY cosplays. LOL Um. Yes. Uh. I got ALOT done over there ;D ;D. Hooray for sewing some parts of the hat & the jacket.

& As for that other goggle Sakura that I mentioned before, here is the 90% finished progress pic: [link] I had finished it back in April, but I decided (more like FORCED) to remake it ; My parents saw this costume and uh. I won't go there XD;; Simply, way too hoochie for public view. So I'll have to remake this by the end of June.

OH GOSH. I typed way too much. Even more than last time. Anyways, I'll update more often since it is summer! I hope everybody is enjoying/will enjoy their summer break! Sorry about the long read x___x
